Did you know that starting October 1, 2020, the federal government will require your driver’s license or identification card (ID) to be REAL ID compliant, if you wish to board a domestic flight or enter a secure federal facility? If you haven’t already done so, I urge you to read over the information that I have provided on how you can get a REAL ID.
As you may know, the DMV is busy, please plan ahead. If possible, please start the application process online (https://www.dmv.ca.gov/portal/dmv/detail/forms/dl/dl44), and have all the necessary documents before arriving to your DMV appointment.
