Good news — today, the LA City Council approved my motion, directing City agencies to redesign Foothill Blvd in Lake View Terrace to improve traffic safety. The proposed plan will provide additional street lighting and a contiguous bridle path along Foothill Blvd from Wentworth St. to the 210 Freeway. In late October, a tragic collision killed two horses and severely injured their riders along Foothill Blvd in Lake View Terrace. The safety on our streets, sidewalks, and bridle paths is one of my top priorities, and I am working on a holistic approach to enhance public safety.
