On October 1st, 2019, a motorcyclist was killed in a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of Tujunga Canyon Boulevard and St Estaban Street. My office worked with LADOT Official to restripe edge lines and shoulder markings and paint narrower lanes in this area. ‘Slow Curve’ warning messages were also installed to warn drivers to slow down when approaching this intersection. I will continue to address speeding issues in our district and prioritize the safety concerns of our residents.
