Over the last few weeks, I’ve been incredibly grateful to see the generosity and resilience of our city rising together. Tonight our partners in public safety, including the LAPD, LAFD, County Sheriffs, and California Highway Patrol, shared their gratitude with the hardworking front line staff at Providence Holy Cross Medical Center. Every day, our local heroes are putting their lives on the line to keep our community safe, and I am so thankful for their tremendous sacrifice. During this crisis, the best way we can honor and thank our medical workers is to stay “Safer at Home.” To the medical and front line workers, we are indebted to you.
