This week, I introduced a motion directing the Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority (LAHSA) to explore opportunities to partner with local restaurants to feed the homeless at shelters during COVID-19. Starting with a letter I sent to the LAHSA executive team on April 9, my office has been working with LAHSA to make this idea a reality. This is an innovative partnership and opportunity to support local businesses while supplying critical meals to our shelters.
