Over the last three years, our District has experienced some of the largest wildfires in the state’s history. With temperatures rising, we’ve seen a couple of small brush fires occur in our district this month, such as one in Shadow Hills this week that burned two acres of brush.
Residents can prepare for the wildfire season and help prevent loss of life and property by clearing brush around homes and buildings, making homes more fire resistant and preparing for evacuation.
