The LA County Health Officer has issued a #HeatAlert as high temperatures (100+ degree) have been forecast for the East San Fernando Valley this weekend.
Residents who do not have access to air conditioning are encouraged to take advantage of free cooling centers. Please note that you are encouraged to call ahead to check availability- #COVID19 social distancing requirements have resulted in reduced capacity at the sites. All centers will operate following LA County Public Health’s Guidelines for Cooling Center Operations.
In #AD39 there are two cooling centers:

➡️ San Fernando Recreation Park
