LA Family Housing, The Arroyo ribbon cutting
In case you missed it — last Monday, we unveiled a new shelter for women in Sylmar. In the midst of a pandemic, I'm proud to be part of the coalition that delivered The Arroyo, a beacon of light for women experiencing homelessness in Sylmar. This project is a model of successful collaboration, transforming an underutilized facility into a safe place for women to heal and recover.Grateful for our partners for their commitment to this project and leading the transformation of this space to deliver 85 beds to women in Sylmar: LA Family Housing, Supervisor Sheila Kuehl and staff, and Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority.
