This year, the first week of school may look a little different. To support families in Sylmar, we hosted a Back to School Fair to provide important resources to assure students are not left behind as a result of the pandemic. If you know of students and families that are still in need of housing, education, or other services, you can contact my office or one of the organizations below. The resources are free and we're here to help our youth have a strong academic school year. 🧒 📚My office – Pacoima City Hall (818) 485-0600 or Sylmar District Office (818) 756-8409LA Family Housing → housing services 🏠 School on Wheels → tutoring and education services for children 👩🏫 Los Angeles Public Library → educational materials and entertainment 📚 Los Angeles Unified School District → information on public schools 🎒 North Valley Caring Services → services for youth and homeless individuals 🧒
