Last week, President Joe Biden announced the launch of the Federally Qualified Health Center program that will provide more vaccines for Community Health Centers that are reaching our underserved and most vulnerable communities. As part of my continued effort to ensure all communities are being reached in the national push to get people vaccinated, on Wednesday, February 17, 2021, I introduced a resolution to expand comprehensive COVID relief and increase access to vaccination at Community Health Centers. My support in launching the federal government’s first phase of the program will help meet the President’s goal of administering 100 million shots in 100 days while also ensuring that vaccines are administered equitably.
