Yesterday we celebrated International Women’s Day by calling the women of SEIU-2015 to register them for their COVID-19 vaccine. Today, I welcomed them as they arrived at the pop-up vaccine site in Sylmar to receive their vaccination.
Foodservice workers, farmworkers, animal agriculture workers, emergency services workers, education, and childcare workers, health care workers, long-term facilities workers and seniors aged 65+ are eligible for the vaccine.
