In honor of the community leader and activist Cesar Chavez, my team along with community members spent a day of service canvassing local businesses to register their workers for the COVID vaccine.
Cesar Chavez committed his life to service working to gain better working conditions for workers who labored on farms for low wages and under severe conditions. Like farm workers, the essential workers in my district have been working throughout the pandemic increasing their risk of contracting the virus.
If you have any questions about vaccine eligibility or to register for one of our district vaccine sites, please contact my Sylmar District Office at (818) 756-8409, Pacoima District Office at (818) 485-0600, or Sunland-Tujunga District Office at (818) 352-3287.
