After my office received numerous calls regarding traffic safety at the intersection of Foothill Boulevard and Harding Street, we worked with the LADOT Official to expedite the review and design of road striping along Foothill Boulevard and Gridley Street to address this issue.
Iām pleased to report that the redesign of the road striping has been completed. The redesign included adding a two-way center turn lane between Gridley Street and Maclay Street in front of Tovara Homes. The center lane will make it safer for southbound traffic on Foothill Boulevard to enter Tovara Homes and for those exiting Tovara Homes to make a left on Foothill Boulevard and to enter southbound traffic. These improvements will help increase visibility and ensure the safety of the public.
