Check out the progress of the Summit View Apartments in Lakeview Terrace. This project will serve as supportive housing for our homeless veterans. From improving service coordination through the Council District 7 Homeless Task Force, to building housing for homeless men, women, and veterans, and supporting partnerships for the creation of a family navigation center, the Summit View Apartments builds on these efforts I have led to address the homeless crisis in our community.
This project leverages unused city-owned parcels to provide our vets with a safe place to call home. Iām proud to fulfill this mission to support the men and women who have given so much of themselves in service to our country.
