I was proud to stand up for garment workers today for the Garment Worker Center‘s #LobbyDay in support of Senator María Elena Durazo‘s #SB62, a bill I co-authored to stop the exploitation of garment workers.
We must end this legalized wage theft now — our workers who make our clothes and the masks that have been keeping us safe throughout the pandemic deserve fair pay.
