Leading the effort with the City of Los Angeles Bureau of Street Services(BSS) they recently applied a slurry seal between Sharp Ave. and Chamberlain St. in Mission Hills. Applying a slurry seal is a cost-effective technique that maintains the good condition of the street resurfaced in the past several years, sealing cracks and gaps that allow water to infiltrate to the base and weaken the street. This economic treatment adds another five years to the life expectancy of the asphalt.
