#ACR176 has passed the Senate Committee on Transportation unanimously, and it now moves to the Assembly floor. This resolution celebrates the rich history and culture of cruising throughout California, and encourages cities, local officials, and law enforcement agencies to work collectively with local car clubs to conduct safe cruising events.
I am happy to see California’s local car and auto clubs working to eliminate these archaic ordinances. Sacramento is a recent city who repealed its cruising prohibition.
