September marks Firefighter Appreciation Month, and I wanted to take this moment to say thank you to the brave men and women who selflessly serve in the fire service.
Both as the daughter of an LA City Firefighter—who is now retired—and the Chair of Public Safety, I know too often the sacrifices that are made to serve in this pivotal role.
