I am proud to announce that my office is hosting our Second Annual Horse License and Microchip Event at Stetson Ranch, in partnership with the Sylmar Equine Coalition, this Sunday, November 6, 2022, from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM. There will be live music, too!
Horse licenses are important in communities like ours because they help first responders create evacuation plans following an emergency or natural disaster, like earthquakes or wildfires, and maintain an accurate count of horses.
A microchip is a permanent ID that facilitates the recovery of lost horses. At this event, you’ll also be able to microchip your cats and dogs.
