Communities like ours have long been overlooked and deprived of their fair share of City resources, but I’ve been working hard to change that.
In partnership with the Los Angeles Department of Sanitation’s Altered Shift Response Team, which is dedicated to maximizing staff efficiencies and scheduling to accelerate the removal of bulky items, my office delivered for our neighbors in North Hills and Pacoima this week by removing blight from our streets. You can expect this good work to continue because, in my role as a member of the Budget and Finance Committee, we allocated supplemental funds last year for the Altered Shift Response Team.
