Creating cleaner, safer communities has been my highest priority since taking office. Many wealthier communities enjoy the ability to have supplemental services paid for by private businesses–historically, this has not been the case for our community. It is why I created and funded Operation Bright S.P.O.T., to focus on commercial and residential corridors to conduct power washing sidewalks, litter pickup, weed abatement, and tree stump removals, and bulky item removals.
The Operation Bright S.P.O.T. crew was out in Sylmar performing much needed tree stump removals and weed abatements.
