Earlier, in Sylmar, I had the pleasure of participating in the grand opening of The Silva Crossing Apartments, a 56-unit-apartment permanent supportive housing (PSH) complex, co-developed by Meta Housing and LA Family Housing that will provide homes to previously homeless and chronically homeless individuals.
This PSH site will provide its residents with supportive services and intensive case management needed to help them transition into their new homes.
The addition of this permanent supportive housing site is another example of the comprehensive strategy weβre leading in my district to address homelessness. I would like to thank our community of Sylmar for saying yes to providing housing solutions that provide a home and services for those that are seeking a fresh start and life away from homelessness. Additionally, I would like to thank Meta Housing, The John Stewart Company, and LA Family Housing for helping with the construction, maintenance, and leasing of the apartments.
