I was proud to sponsor a visit for the Youth Program at North Valley Caring Services (NVCS) to visit Hansen Dam. My office provided students with tickets and arranged for two buses to transport them on this special day.
For many children in the Northeast San Fernando Valley, opportunities for field trips are limited. Recognizing this, our office embraced the chance to support NVCS and continue our commitment to the youth in our district.

Tomorrow, you can also join us at Hansen Dam Aquatic Center for the Annual Summer Movie Nights to watch water-themed movies the whole family can enjoy. Bring your towels and enjoy the movies from the pool or the sandy beach. It’s an event the entire family will love, and it is absolutely FREE!
Summer Movie Nights are a summertime favorite with activities for the kids, food trucks, and resource booths. Gates open at 6:00 PM, and the movie begins at sunset.
