As a member of the Latino Caucus and an advocate for equity, I was thrilled to join my colleagues in celebrating the $15 million investment to fund the Latina Futures, 2050 Lab at UCLA’s LPPI Institute.
Through new research, this funding will help address the growing inequality among Latinas in a variety of areas such as careers and leadership opportunities. Thank you for your leadership in these equity initiatives, UCLA Latino Policy & Politics Institute, UCLA Chicano Studies Research Center (CSRC), Senator María Elena Durazo, and Assemblymember Sabrina Cervantes!
