Congratulations to the Bionic Lizards from Robert H. Lewis High School in #SunValley for winning the regional and LAUSD championship!
After their win, the Bionic Lizards headed to Texas to compete in its first Tech Challenge World Championship against 192 other teams. The Bionic Lizards were one of the eight groups who received the Judge’s Choice Award.
As we applaud the incredible achievement of these Robotics Champions, let us also recognize their remarkable teachers and mentors, including their coach, Dr. Holcomb, who believed in them and provided guidance along the way. Their contributions have been instrumental in nurturing and empowering these bright young minds to unlock their full potential.
I am proud of the students from Robert H. Lewis High School. Their triumphant win serves as an inspiration to all of the students in #AD43, reminding us that with determination and self confidence, there are no limits to what we can achieve.
