Calling all artists! The Los Angeles Department of Cultural Affairs has announced relief resources to LA-based performing artists who were financially affected by COVID-19. Round-one of this emergency grant relief opportunity is open to performing artists and small ensembles in dance, music, and theater who canceled performances, shows or concerts due to the virus, were scheduled within the City of Los Angeles and open to the general public. In addition, the 2020 application for the Laura Zucker Fellowship for Policy and Research is open now through May 1, 2020. This fellowship is an opportunity for individuals to research and propose policies that will impact LA’s arts and cultural policy landscape. The fellowship offers a $3,500 stipend, one-on-one mentorship from Arts for LA leadership, and the opportunity to thoroughly investigate an area of urgent importance.
