This week California passed ACR 190 commemorating Juneteenth. Thank you Assemblymember Reggie Jones-Sawyer for introducing a critical resolution that celebrates the end of slavery and confederate south. #Juneteenth is a reminder of the progress in this nation, and although it is not perfect, we must actively work for a more equitable future for all people.
